This Tree Story comes from workshops with the Delta centre at Hanover Carlow in March and April 2023 . The footage came from two field trips we had in St Patrick’s college field . It was so lovely working with all the people at Delta Hanover, a huge thank you to everyone for a truly lovely experience .

Special thanks to Kasia Hennessy who arranged and facilitated the sessions . Also thank you to the support of KCETB ( Carlow Kilkenny Education Training Board) who supported the workshops.

I like when the leaves are blowing on the ground, the trees are blowing in the wind

Every time I wake up I hear a big owl going on every morning , yeah , making sounds .

I feel at peace and stuff and I don’t have to think about other things for a time because I get so distracted easily .

Outside in my garden is lovely , I can listen to the birds.

My father made me a tree swing for me one year.

I remember them days, it was lovely.

Open Call for your tree story on video

Memory Palace of Tree Stories is a socio-ecological art practice which invites you to tell a story or share information about trees . It is a creative-led social enquiry of how we can live well for both personal and collective wellbeing. Your story can be any kind of tree story , a personal tree story, an ecological tree story , an environmental tree story, an historical tree story or even a botanical tree story. I do hope you can contribute a comment on how we can live better with the greater community of life.

The year 2023 we continue to gather your stories in the form of one minute videos and we are really looking forward to hearing your tree story . I can be contacted directly on this platform or on the contact page on this website.
