Memory Palace of Tree Stories comes to Carlow Garden Festival 2023

Carlow Garden Festival July 29th – August 5th

The Memory Palace of Tree Stories will gather trees stories from visitors attending the various Gardens and Heritage Gardens during the festival . There will be an on site videographer , the renowned Patrick Bramley  to record tree stories  by guests coming to hear presentations and talks at the festival venues .

People can tell their one minute tree story on the day without filming and editing concerns.

Your Just a Minute Tree Story

These short videos are less than a minute, they can be about any aspect of trees, it might be an  historical tree  story or a botanical tree story, or  even an ecological  tree story or a personal tree story.  It would be great if you can include a comment on how we might live better with the planet.

Why create your Tree Story?

After crafting your own narrative, your tree story will be part of a traveling community,  your story will be presented to different audiences in exhibitions in China and Ireland and possibly elsewhere.  I am making artworks in response to a number of the Tree Stories.

This event is supported by Carlow County Council Arts Office and Creative Ireland Carlow Programme.
